Quebec, QC, Canada, April 3rd, 2018 – NuRAN Wireless Inc. (CSE: NUR) (OTC: NRRWF) is pleased to announce that it has received new purchase orders for its LiteCell GSM base stations valued at approximately four hundred thousand Canadian dollars ($400,000.00 CAD).

Included in these new purchase orders is the initial phase of a rural cellular deployment in a Sub-Saharan African country. The overall rural expansion is expected to grow to a total of 150 sites to be deployed over two years.

NuRAN also received a follow-on purchase order to connect communities in Northern Canada. For many years, NuRAN’s LiteCell base stations have been commissioned in the Canadian Arctic, operating year-long and in extreme climatic conditions where temperature often reach lows of -40 degrees Celsius.

NuRAN’s primary target markets are under-developed and emerging countries with large cellular connectivity needs especially in the rural and remote areas. This being the case, Nuran can also reach the rural and remote areas of developed countries such as Canada which still have significant populations that do not have any connectivity and for which NuRAN’s mobile and broadband infrastructure solutions are best suited.
