Quebec, QC, October 27, 2015 – NuRAN Wireless Inc. (“NuRAN Wireless” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Nutaq Innovation Inc. (“Nutaq”), has been selected for $660,000 engineering contract by an Asian Defense Contractor.

The engineering contract consists of developing a wireless application based on Nutaq’s long established expertise. Nutaq’s main objective is to continue to maintain its leadership in the wireless landscape. Nutaq is expected to provide a customized Programmable Radio Platform (PRP) and a Waveform Development Kit (WDK) for wireless communication waveform definition & design, development, integration, and performance verification. The goal is to create a high performance Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based platform which is modular, flexible and evolvable, combined with a flexible RF frontend that will allow our customer to develop the waveform efficiently. These tools are expected to greatly accelerate the development of applications, shorten the development cycle and reduce project costs. The Waveform Development Kit includes robust waveforms operating in point to point and line-of-sight settings, in various frequency bands, which can be used for secure and reliable communications by public safety and defense organizations.

Martin Bedard, Co-President and Co-CEO of NuRAN Wireless, said, “This order reaffirms NuRAN Wireless’ commitment to remain a partner of choice in developing and deploying next-generation wireless devices for different markets worldwide. The ability and expertise demonstrated through numerous years of experience and through developing NuRAN Wireless’ own proprietary product line, is a testament to the vision of the NuRAN Wireless team. It also demonstrates our ability to convert ideas into scalable and reliable products.”
