OC-2G is a carrier-grade GSM base station designed and contributed by NuRAN Wireless to the Telecom Infra Project’s OpenCellular initiative. Thanks to its absolute lowest total cost of ownership, it is the only solution that provides connectivity to demographics of less than 1,000 profitably.

The OC-2G GSM base station is available as part of NuRAN Carrier Solutions (NCS), where it combines with NuRAN Wireless’ Base Station Controller (BSC) to form a complete radio access network(RAN) that seamlessly integrates to an operator’s core network.
It is also available as part of NuRAN OpenAccess (NOA), which consists of open-source software as well as open interfaces at various layers of the mobile network protocol. It also features higher-level functionalities such as network-in-a-box, and Facebook-driven Community Cellular Manager.
