NuRAN Wireless Inc. (“NuRAN Wireless” or the “Company”) (CSE: NUR) (OTC: NRRWF) (FSE: 1RN), a leading supplier of mobile and broadband wireless infrastructure solutions is pleased to announce that it has received new purchase orders totaling $1.25 Million CAD related to  an agreement signed and previously announced (the “Agreement”) with Africa Mobile Networks (“AMN”) on June 14, 2018.

The Agreement stipulates that NuRAN is to supply the OC-2G, a GSM basestation that is developed by NuRAN, to over 3,000 sites throughout Africa. These AMN purchase orders comprised of over 500 units contributes to the Telecom Infra Project’s OpenCellular, a Facebook (FB:NASDAQ) initiative.  NuRAN plans to deliver the OC-2G units for AMN in Africa in 2019.

As previously stated, Africa Mobile Networks is a group of companies organised with its corporate head office in the UK and subsidiary operating companies in several sub-Saharan African countries. Per the announcement on October 16, 2018, AMN partnered with Intelsat (I:NYSE) to connect ultra-rural sub-Saharan Africa. In that announcement, Intelsat stated that it has made a strategic investment in AMN to accelerate the adoption of mobile connectivity in the region and close the digital divide.
