You are able to communicate with all areas of the company, and will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements. Additionally, you will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers and market segments. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

 

You will also ensure a pro-active training of the sales force and will manage product/marketing communications.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Ownership of the Management lifecycle for a portion of NURAN Wireless infrastructure hardware and software product that support NuRAN’s network proposition. Responsible for ensuring we continuously provide the right operational products to meet our target customer’s needs, while ensuring these investments represent the maximum possible financial return over the business planning timeframe. Specific tasks include:

  • Develop knowledge of the market dynamics, drivers of change and competitors.
  • Understand the NURAN business objectives and overall portfolio product direction to ensure we provide the right operational solutions against these goals
  • Using market knowledge and business acumen, prioritize the areas of investment to maximize NURAN value and drive business growth
  • Develop and clearly articulate product strategies and associated value propositions.
  • Translate product strategies into actionable product development requirements and associated release plans.
  • Assist in the development of business cases in support of Product Line growth strategies and plans, clearly defining financial, operational and strategic assumptions, goals and objectives.
  • Communicate and collaborate product strategy across all internal product, services and sales functions.
  • Post Launch Product Management tracking and End of Life management
  • Represent NURAN in front of the customer, communicating operational product release content, value propositions and differentiators while listening to their needs.

 

Candidate Profile

  • General knowledge of Wireless architectures and protocols is essential (2G, 3G, 4G and beyond)
  • Experience with various Wireless protocol GSM, LTE solutions is highly desirable
  • Superb communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible, able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Ability to communicate highly technical matters to non-technical individuals
  • 20% travel required (e.g. customer visits, development site meetings, cross-functional meetings, etc.)

Required Experience

  • Technical degree (BS minimum), with an MBA or MS preferred
  • Experience in marketing of software products, telecom experience preferred
  • Product management and product introduction experience preferred
  • Team-oriented & Self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed
  • Personable, interacting well with customers and co-workers
  • Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables
  • Recognized technical authority for particular disciplines
